PLOT PUZZLE #2 Winner!

That was fast!

PLOT PUZZLE #2 was posted on the site at 10:49 pm last night, and answered by 7:45 am this morning.

• The now 2 time winner of PLOT PUZZLE is John Weir, for correctly guessing the film, Boogie Nights.

I've noticed that both participants came up with some creative ways to say the title (which I loved!), but no matter how you say it, it was Boogie Nights, one of the great classic films.

For anyone who doesn't know, the story follows the fictional Eddie Adams, alias Dirk Digler, a young porn star (loosely based on real life porn actor John Holmes) during the drug addled disco boppin' '70's and '80's. Directed by the always incredible Paul Thomas Anderson, Boogie Nights is extravagant and unexpected in almost every way. As the story weaves through decades you join this circus of a family on their ridiculous road to hell and back. The Anderson crew, as it were, is all there including Phillip Seymour Hoffman, Julianne Moore, John C. Reilly, Luiz Guzman, Melora Walters and many more. Amazing performances by Mark Wahlberg as Digler, and Burt Reynolds as the man who made him a star, Jack Horner. Boogie Nights is a must see/must own.

- The winner will be the first person to guess the right answer according to the time of comment posted or email sent
